A rumour or rumor (US English) is "a tall tale of explanations of events circulating from person to person and pertaining to an object, event, or issue in public concern".
When lies are told drama is created by people on both sides of the situation. Another source of drama is a fight between two friends or peers, which turns into an all out war to see who’s right and wrong. One situation that really get under student’s skin is relationship drama. These situations can escalate when drama begins to appear on the internet where it can never truly be erased, and everyone has access to it.
What can rumors cause?
Rumors can easily cause depression on the person but it may become more serious and be the catalyst for drug use, social development problems or even suicide.
