Furry Friends Charity: £2 for ice cream cones!

Grade 7 is raising money for Furry Friends Charity, this is a charity that helps animals in need!
Upcoming Trip: Grade 7 - National Gallery
Grade 7 will be going to the National Gallery with Sue Dance and Gareth Jones to explore the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings. Students will have the opportunity to discover how these artists used scientific colour theories which began the Modern Art movement and a new way of seeing colour. This is part of our IDU unit with Visual Arts and Science on Colour and Light.
Students will leave the school at 9.15am on Monday 27th April and take the bus down to Trafalgar Square to the National Gallery. They will need a fully charged up iPad (rather than a phone), topped up oyster card and some money for a snack.

Reminder: Staff in-service training - Wednesday 29 April
Wednesday 29 April is a half-day for students due to Staff in-service. Students will be dismissed from Halcyon after period 4, at 12.20. Lunch will not be provided.
School resumes as normal on Thursday 30 April at 0830.
Upcoming Trip: Grade 9 - Science Museum
Grade 9 students are visiting the ‘Who am I’ exhibit at the Science Museum about genetics and identity and, while at the Museum, they will attend a debate on the subject of DNA.
Students have chosen to buy their lunch off-campus so all student should bring lunch money. Students will also need a fully-charged iPad and their Oyster card.
