Next Week's Schedule
A Sample of the Daily Bell Schedule
Start of In Person Afternoons
No Students may be on campus before 12:15 and will line up in the courtyard or on the playground.
Line Up Areas will be for students only.
Students will enter through marked Entrance Doors.
Students will follow directional arrows on campus consistent with two way traffic flow.
Students will walk on the right hand side of hallways, and enter and exit on the right hand side of hallways and classrooms.
Students should practice physical distancing on campus, and monitor spacing while waiting to enter halls, classrooms, etc.
End of the Day - Student Pick Up
It is important to minimize close contact between students, staff, families and the broader community during arrival and departure times. The following methods will be utilized:
Drivers will be instructed to remain in their vehicles to the extent possible.
When in-person drop off or pick-up is needed, only a single parent or guardian should enter the facility to pick-up or drop-off the student.
If you choose to walk your child to the campus entrance, you must wear a mask and adhere to 6 feet of physical distance between you and others.
Supervision will be provided to disperse student gatherings during arrival and departure times.
For early checkout, parents will call the school office from their car and students will report to the designated entrance for pick up.
Classroom Assignments
I want to try to keep students with their current assigned teacher as a way to continue to support them in their learning and keep them on the same day as their sibling. This will not happen for every student, but efforts are being made. Assignments will be sent out early next week.
Face Coverings
Students will wear a mask at all times while on campus unless drinking from their water bottle. Students must wear a well-fitted mask with no ventilation valve. Gaiters and bandanas will not be allowed. Masks should fit over the nose and mouth without gapping. If a student comes to school without a mask, he/she will be given a reusable or disposable mask and an email will be sent home to the family.
If a student repeatedly refuses to wear his or her mask, the classroom teacher will immediately contact the principal who will contact the family. The family will be given one warning. If the student’s mask-wearing does not improve, the student will be moved to the remote learning model.
Physical Distancing
Students should maintain at least 6 feet of distance from all other individuals. If a student repeatedly refuses to maintain this space, the classroom teacher will immediately contact the principal and the families will be contacted.
