Franconia Lip Sync Details:
When: Friday, March 17, 2023 at 7:00 pm (snow date, Friday, April 14th)
Where: Indian Crest Middle School Auditorium
Help is Needed to Make the Lip Sync Extra Memorable:
* Parent volunteers for the 5th Grade Act - Practices will be held during the day to include all our 5th graders. If you can help, please contact Leah Hetherington at leahzta@yahoo.com
* Parent volunteers for a Parent Act - We need someone (or a couple someones) to take the lead to organize this act. If you can help, please contact Monica Jalboot at thejalboots@gmail.com
Without volunteers for the Parent and 5th Grade Acts, these acts will not be included in this year's Lip Sync!
Cold Weather Reminder
Dear Parents:
Now that the cold weather is upon us, we want to ask you to remind your child to wear a coat, hat, pants, and mittens or gloves to school. We are outside for recess when the actual temperature is 16 degrees or above. A shortened “cold weather recess” will be in effect when the temperature and/or wind chill is between 15 and 20 degrees. In order to protect the health of our students, we want children to go outside wearing adequate protection.
Thank you for your help in reminding your child to wear his/her winter gear to school.
Attendance Reminder
It is important that the school receives notification of a student's absence for that day.
Please know that emails accomplish both notifying and excusing your child(rens) absence.
To report an absence, please contact
Mrs. Wett at attendFR@soudertonsd.org.
From Dr. Heineck
Our expectation is that all of our students show safety, ownership, acceptance and respect. The teachers, staff members and myself are here to guide our students and help them make positive choices. Part of that is helping them learn from the choices that they make, both positive and negative. From time to time, a student needs support in reaching these expectations. We use green and blue behavioral forms as well as age appropriate consequences to provide teachable moments where students can grow and develop. You will be contacted by a teacher and the behavioral form will be sent home for you to sign and return. If you have any questions about our School Wide Positive Behavior Support plan, please contact your child’s teacher or myself.
In partnership,
Laura Heineck, Ed. D.
Franconia Falcons SOAR to success!
