A Message From The Principal

Dear Families,

It has been an exciting and busy beginning to the school year. I want to thank each of you for your patience and understanding as we work to refine our processes for arrival, dismissal and bus transportation. The students have done an outstanding job learning about school routines. I am excited to share that this has been the best start to the school year that I have ever experienced.

By now, your child's teacher should have shared information about See Saw. See Saw is the learning management system (LMS) that all staff uses to share and receive information from parents. This LMS has a lot of great features like picture sharing, skill practice and messaging. Please reach out to the teacher if you have not received information about See Saw.

Lunch Visitors

We know that you look forward to visiting your child at school for lunch. We will begin allowing visitors at lunch on September 6. Guest must have valid id and be on the child's Skyward account to be able to eat lunch in the cafeteria. We have designated tables where students and their guest may eat. Guest are not able to join students at recess after the lunch period. We do not allow guests during breakfast.

Arrival and Dismissal

Our doors open each day at 7:15.

Breakfast service in the cafeteria begins at 7:15. Students need to be here by 7:40 to ensure they receive breakfast.

Students arriving after 7:40 are considered late and will miss some free time play acitivities that occur after breakfast.

Dismissal is at 3:20 each day. Please note that we begin the dismissal processes at 2:30 and our office closes to visitors from 2:30-3:45. For this reason, students that must leaver early for appointments must be picked up before 2:30. This process allows us to secure the building and ensure student safety.

Big picture

If you would like for your child to ride the bus to or from school, please contact our school office to set up transportation. We will contact transportation to make sure the process is started. Because our students are so young, we have additional safety precautions that will be provided when you call the school
