EXTENTION ACTIVITY
Title Sequences
Title sequences are made by designers. These designers inspire themselves from the media they are creating for. The history, the characters and cultures also have an impact upon the titles. They want the titles to communicate ideas of the film, which is why they must be linked in some way.
Through the years, titles have changed significantly in style. The style of titles have changed significantly throughout the years since the 1960s. Around the 1990s, the style of titles became similar as they used more basic fonts rather than unusual and original ones to create a more professional look of media products. Today however, a large amount of media products use different titles than others. They do this because they want to seem original, and be different from other media products in order to be remembered by their audience.
The relationship between the title sequences designers and the film studio and director is important because they need to work together to create the wanted final product. They must communicate their ideas to each other for all workers to be aware of any changes. Even small changes affect the rest of the media product.
