Ms. Kahla's Class
October 3-6th & 12-13th 2016
What a crazy past two weeks it has been! I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend vacation. I know I took full advantage and went out of state. Last week was a bit chaotic for me, I was out with sick kiddos and it threw me for a loop. I was glad to get back on Tuesday and get to teaching all your sweet babies.
Last week we worked on naming orange items for orange day, we did stamps and sorted leaves by size. We did glitter spider webs and our candy corn art, and made masking tape mummy. We did pumpkin stickers and made square pumpkins. We traced pumpkins, made finger print skeletons, and sorted colored leaves.
This week we worked on line tracing, circle stamps for circle day, and shape matching pumpkins. Yesterday we painted with dobbers and did our pattern worksheet. We also played with moster dirt and fire trucks. It has been a great past two weeks!
A huge thank you to James for our Orange Day snack, and to Nathaniel for our Circle Day snack. Kyle will be bringing snack on Tuesday, October 18th for Creepy Crawly Day.
Please be on the look out for a school email about a recent health update.
As always, if there is anything you ever need to speak to me about or are concerned about please reach out!
