Ability in the workforce
Women worked in the workforce while their husbands were fighting overseas. They didn't complain about anything, they just worked because they needed the money. Women worked for their families. They got small wages but still worked to get new homes. By women starting in the workforce the percentage went up 10%.
Women's Roles
Women procured many roles during World War II. They had to keep the economy running smoothly as well as taking care of their families and making war materials for their country. Women had a lot of responsibility during World War II.
Making life easier
Women worked in the workforce to make life easier for their families. Women had hard physical labor to cope with. Women also got sexually harassed from the men because of their clothing. But nothing mattered to them they worked as hard as the men worked because they knew they needed the money for their families even if it was a low amount
