FJVD Weekly Info
We Live the Word!
From the Principal's Desk
Dear Father Doyle Families,
It was wonderful to see our students at the 11:30am Mass this past Sunday as Catholic Schools Week came to a close and we opened our doors to prospective families at our winter Open House. A special thank you to our middle school students who served as tour guides during the event!
In speaking with many prospective families, I heard often that they had registered for the Open House because they had spoken with a current family who encouraged them to discover what Doyle had to offer. We're so grateful for your continued support as we look ahead to enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year!
Last Day to Guarantee Your Spot - Re-Enrollment for the 2022-2023 School Year
As communicated via email last week, re-enrollment is now open for current families. In order to provide current families with priority for enrollment, we strongly encourage all current families to re-enroll by the end of the day today, February 11th. All current families who re-enroll by today are guaranteed a spot for the 2022-2023 school year. Some classes are currently at capacity, and we are not able to guarantee a spot for current families who attempt to re-enroll after today.
I am grateful for your continued dedication and support this year, and I pray that you will continue to entrust us with your children’s education and formation by re-enrolling for the 2022-2023 school year.
The Annual Father John V. Doyle School Auction
Come join us at the “Boot Scootin’ Ball!” Tickets are now on sale! This past week, we announced the theme of this year’s FJVD 2022 Silent Live Auction. The “Boot Scootin’ Ball” Auction Dinner will take place Saturday Evening March 26 at the Quonset O Club in North Kingstown. It will be our first in person Auction Dinner since the pandemic! The evening will feature Live Country and Western Music by the “Saints John and Paul Barn Band,” starring Fr. Woolley, Mrs. Burns, and OLC Organist/FJVD Parent Brian Mattias on keyboards and pedal steel guitar!
Tickets to the Auction Dinner are $40 a person, $375 for a table of 10; tickets can be purchased HERE.
For a lot more information on our Silent and Live Auction, please visit the 2022 Auction Website.
Also, if you haven’t checked out Fr. Woolley’s Auction Promo Video, you can view it HERE.
Lastly, thank you to the many parents and parishioners who have donated items to the Auction so far; this week we received an electric lawn mower, a 55” LG TV, 2 yards of mulch, and two vacation rentals, just to name a few things! If you can donate an item, large or small, please visit our on line wish board. All auction proceeds go towards the purchase of desks and chairs for the 2nd grade and one of the middle school classrooms.
Thank you again for all your support, and helping to make each year's auction a huge success!
Extended Day Registration
Previously, families have registered students to attend extended day programming via a monthly sign-up in our FACTS Family Portal. At this time, due to consistent extended day numbers and current daycare locations, it is no longer necessary to register via the monthly calendar on FACTS. If your child does not regularly attend extended day and you would like them to attend for a single day, a number of days, or over an extended period, please email Mrs. Sheldon directly to register. Thank you!
Reminder: Father Doyle School is a Peanut & Tree-Nut Free School

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. God bless, and Go Saints!
Sincerely,
Mr. Peloquin
