Bulldog Bulletin
Elementary School- Summer 2022
A Note from your principal
Dear HCS families,
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer months. I wanted to say hello as well as share with you a few of our upcoming events and celebrations for you to mark on your calendars.
In August, students and their families are invited to participate in orientation activities for all Kindergarten students as well as UPK students. We are also excited to announce that we will hosting a Back to School Bash, featuring live music, fun activities and food, and so that students and their families can meet their teachers, see their classrooms, and drop off supplies. Community Partners will also be invited and on site with information and opportunities for our students. Please mark your calendars for the evening of September 1st!
I look forward to a strong start to the school year and I wish for everyone, a healthy and happy rest of summer!
Natalie Pfluke

From the School Social Worker
As a school social worker, I recognize that summer can be a challenging time for students and families, so I have included a few resources that may help to provide you with some support throughout the next few months.
Honeoye Central School District Community Resource Guide
The Community Resource Guide contains information about mental health, medical, food, and financial resources that are accessible to you throughout Ontario County, and beyond, and will be updated throughout the 2022-23 school year. If you have any questions about this guide, or are interested in accessing some of the resources, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
Throughout the summer, building level administrators will be available, and also have access to the resource guide to help support families. The Secondary Office can be reached at (585) 229-5171 x3016, and the Elementary Office can be reached at (585) 229-5171 x3018
Please feel free to reach out with any questions! I look forward to partnering with you in the upcoming school year!
