We need your help!
Attention Bay Haven parents that own a business!! Looking for a little bit of free advertising? We are in need of gift certificates, goods or services to be donated for our silent auction. Anything you donate will be displayed with your business name on it at the silent auction table and we will tag your business on FB! We would much rather have items from our Bay Haven family to support our local businesses rather that putting money in a strangers bank account.
The holidays are just around the corner and this is an amazing opportunity to get recognition for YOUR business. Whether its handbags, jewelry, homemade crafts, artwork, construction services, lawn care, sports or fitness, photography, hair care or beauty supplies, restaurants, catering, entertainment, party supplies…….whatever your business is ……let us HELP YOU!

Meetings will be held the first Thursday of each month! Next meeting date will be Nov. 2nd. Students must submit a permission form and parent contact sheet. These can be picked up in the STEAM Lab.
ATTENTION K-Kids Parents!!! Please see the attached Parent Newsletter about current events and projects, as well as important information!
Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is a fundraising project we are participating in from now until November 16th. Each class is collecting change to raise money for the Eliminate Project. All proceeds will go to help eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. The class that raises the most money will receive a donut party! Please help support this cause.
If you have any questions regarding K-Kids you may contact Ms. Pettis via email at: pettikj@bayhaven.org
Dear Parents, Teachers, and Students,
On November 9, 2017, we will be having special programs for our students in order to observe Veterans Day. We will be decorating our courtyard with American flags. You and your family may purchase a plaque to go in front of the flag to honor or memorialize your Veteran. We are requesting a minimum donation of $15.00, but your generosity is appreciated. All of the funds raised will help with funding Veteran programs at our school. This is a great way to honor the Veterans in your life while helping us support different Veteran causes in our area. Also, the flags will look great lining our sidewalks the day of the event.
To place your honorary flag plaque, please fill out this form and return it to Miss Holland in the Media Center no later than October 31, 2017. We will not accept forms after this date as plaques will be sent out for printing that afternoon. Thank you in advance for your help!

Water Bottle Fundraiser Results from Last Year
Last year, many of our students participated in a fundraiser to provide a primary school in Uganda with a working well for clean drinking water. We have heard from the school that the well has been installed! Below is a letter from the school.
Thank you to all the Bobcats who gave money for this worthy cause!
*******
Greetings from Uganda. I wish to thank you very much for the help you have extended to our people by providing them with clean drinking water. The drilling was finished about two weeks ago. The pump was fixed early last week. I was able to visit last week to taste the water. The water is soft and clean.
Bless you and those who participated in running for water abundantly. Please enjoy the attached pictures.
Sincerely,
Ephraim and Jova Tumusiime
