- Charleston, South Carolina Shooting
- Cam visited the scene of the shooting at a Church in Charleston South Carolina.
- Provided each of the 9 families involved with $10,000 dollars to help with funeral funds and anything else
- Also hosted a 7v7 football tournament in Charleston with local high school teams.

- Elijah Hughes visit on Halloween
- Elijah is a 10 year old kid who was diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric cancer and was not scheduled to make it to his favorite holiday, Halloween.
- Elijah's parents and his neighborhood planned a nice event in which Elijah's favorite football player, Cam Newton, came to the neighborhood and went trick or treating with him.
- Cam Newton showed up to the scene in an ice cream truck.

- Inaugural Kids Rock Gala and "Kick it with Cam"
- Kick ball tournament with celebrities.
- Would have been 5 dollars a ticket but Cam decided to pay for the tickets.
- 2,500 people ended up showing up.
- Made a statement of getting involved with the Carolina Community
- At the Kids Rock Gala celebrities like Gavin Degraw, Warren Moon, Eddie George, and the Auburn football coach Guz Malzahn. Co-Hosted by Trey Wingo
- VIP reception and dinner with a live auction presenting tickets for Superbowl 50, The Indy 500, Wimbeldon, and then a session of training with Cam Newton.
