A Message from our RMS PTA
Your PTA is already busy enriching Roosevelt and your students’ experiences!
The first Student Store and Dippin Dots sales will start this Wednesday August 21st at lunchtime. This activity will be every Wednesday during both lunches. Let your student know, and it is a good incentive for them to earn some money doing chores!! We also need parent helpers from 11-1 to sell items and be part of the group! Email lizdebaets@gmail.com if you are interested!
The Friday Spirit Cart is up and running! Every Friday students who demonstrate school spirit: wear RED or have a Roosevelt shirt on can choose one FREE item from the spirit cart. It is free, and it is fun! Let your student know to dress with spirit! This program could use a few parent helpers as well, although student store needs more! This is 11-1 (both lunches). Please email Liz if you are interested. Also, the free items are usually school supplies, games, trinkets, crafts, clothes even, shoes, hand me downs, toys….honestly the kids like everything!! Any donations are appreciated! Clean out your closet, toy chest, office! Send it to the office labeled PTA.
Communication—-the PTA uses two Facebook accounts to share info, a page and a group. Join us! Also, within the last 24 hours an email was sent out to our entire email list. There were three emails sent to those interested in specific areas 1) general info 2) student store opportunities 3) board and special involvement info. If you want to be included in the communication for any of these groups and you did not receive the email——send an email to lizdebaets@gmail.com and indicate what type area you want to receive info about - general, student store, board. Thanks!!
