Smart, Strong and Selfless Squads are here!
Happy Fall to Everyone! I hope you had a restful and wonderful fall break! When students returned last week from the break, we held an exciting Monday Morning Meeting. During that time together, Southside’s new squad system was revealed to the school community and students discovered which squad they are part of. The Southside squads are: Smart Squad, Strong Squad, and Selfless Squad. Squads are like a family within the school community and each classroom and every staff member is part of a squad. The squads work together to earn “tiger tokens” by being smart, strong, and selfless. Each week, tiger tokens are tallied and the squad that has earned the most tiger tokens is honored by having their squad banner raised in our school building. Be sure to ask your child which squad they represent and when you are visiting Southside, check out the squad banners! Together, we are Smart, Strong, and Selfless!
