Announcements and News

Message from the Directors

After an extremely busy week, the Norcross Bands are back to working on music for spring performances! This past week, the Wind Symphony and the Percussion Ensemble Recorded for their GMEA In-Service Performances and the All-State/District Band 1st Round Auditions were judged, so this edition of the Newsletter has a lot of information and good stuff!

The WS Performance is attached here and the PE will be attached next week, so please be on the lookout and take a listen!

Students who auditioned for All-State/District, please see a director for scores and feedback, but below is the list of students who made district band and/or the second round of auditions for All-State. We currently do not know how that audition will be performed, but we will let you all know as soon as we do.

At the beginning of February, we will begin Leadership Training for students interested in honing in their leadership skills and/or be part of the Marching Band Leadership Team.
