Nevada Day/Halloween School Celebrations - 10/28/2021

LWJES will hold a costume parade at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021. The costume parade will be outdoors and will be open for parents/guardians to attend.


The school will also provide Nevada Day/Halloween celebrations for students on this day as well. The celebrations will be only for students, and no visitors or volunteers will be able to attend.


Please look for more information from the school and your child's teacher soon!

Thank you to all the families who participated in conferences this past week! If you have not yet scheduled your conference, please contact your child's teacher to get a time set.

REMINDER: Screen Your Child's Health Before School Each Day

Families are required to check their child's health each morning before coming to school on in-person learning days.


Any students determined to be exhibiting symptoms related to COVID-19 will be sent home immediately from school from the satellite health office. Should isolation and/or quarantine protocols need to be enacted, communication will be provided from the school.

REMINDER: Facial Coverings/Masks Required

Approved facial coverings/masks continue to be required for all people ages 3+ when indoors, regardless of vaccination status, until further notice.


Please provide additional clean facial coverings/masks for your child. Please send a supply in a sealed, zippered bag in your child's backpack should they need to replace a soiled or damaged mask during the school day.
