Classroom News!
Our week began with a fabulous trip to the Building Museum in downtown DC. The children were great with their city etiquette nad enjoyed riding the Metro to and from the museum. Our docent was a knowledgeable woman named Miss Marisa. The children responded eagerly to her questions about buildings and were were so proud of how much they have learned. We saw an exhibition of different style houses and each child was able to design a small house or building with different materials such as pipe cleaners, stickers, constructions paper, pom poms, etc. A heartfelt "Thank You" to all the parent chaperones for helping to make this field trip such a success!

Poem of the Week
The Bus
There is a painted bus,
With twenty painted seats,
It carries painted people
Along the painted streets.
They pull the painted bell,
The painted driver stops,
And they all get out together
At the little painted shops.
