Learning engagements:

Creating own monster story using stimulus of ‘The Gruffalo’ and ‘Monster Goes to the Beach’. Focus on creating a story with beginning, middle and end.

  • Get Reading Right ‘Synthetic Phonics’ Book 2

  • Unit 1 Phonemes and Camera words.

  • Camera words:- ‘one some want many love has’.

Learning engagements:

  • Differentiated Number problems involving addition within 10, 20 and 100. Use of number line to 20 and 100 square.
  • Mental maths work on 5’s and 10’s.
  • Count on, count back, more than less than a given number.
