8th Grade Team Building
On Friday, January 18th our 8th grade class enjoyed a positive team building event planned by our 8th grade class parents, encouraging collaboration, creativity, leadership, and positive communication! The day built up to a culminating activity in which students worked in small groups to build bicycles that were donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Monmouth County!
Special thanks to our amazing 8th grade class parents that planned and organized this experience for our 8th grade students: Mrs. Doran, Mrs. Vitale, Mrs. McCafferty, Mrs. Theobald, and Mrs. Bradley!
We would also link to thank Paul and Brian from Glendola bikes that went above and beyond for our students in helping us put the finishing touches on building the bikes. We thank Main Street Donuts in Belmar for providing us a school discount and customized school color donuts. A big thanks to Investors bank for sponsoring and funding the event. We thank Kathy Cunningham from Team Shamrock for inspiring and motivating our students throughout the day!
We Thank Mrs. Meixsell for her guidance and help in planning and facilitating fun activities for our students. Even Monsignor Cullen spent a lot of time in the gym showing so much support for the students. Most importantly, we commend our 8th grade students for their teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills! They did an amazing job!!
