Conferences - Thank You!

Thank you to all who attended conferences this week. We appreciate everyone's flexibility with the bad weather on Wednesday evening. We really appreciate the chance to speak with you about your child's growth and achievement. If you did not have a conference, we encourage you to still meet with your child(ren)'s teacher. Contact your teacher - those 15 minutes can make a big difference for your child's future!
Admiral's Game Field Trip

Admiral's Game Field Trip

This week Wednesday, March 1, is our all-school field trip to the Admiral's Game. Students cannot be late to school that day! Buses leave shortly after school starts. There will not be anyone in the office, and there is nothing for students that do not go on the field trip with us that day (just like any other field trip). 4K has a regular day of school and will be staying at Lakeview.

Students should bring a bag lunch (if they did not order a bag lunch from school). Everything should be disposable - no lunch boxes, please. Students will return to school in the afternoon and finish the day at Lakeview as normal.

If you have not returned your Admiral's game permission slip and $10 fee, please send both to school right away. The field trip is on Wednesday, March 1. Remember that we have funding for any family that cannot pay the cost of the field trip.

Smart Smiles

Lakeview will again be participating in the Smart Smiles program, a free dental wellness checkup program. Checkups will be the week of March 20, but families must register in advance. Paper forms were sent home or you can sign up online by clicking this link.
4K Registration for 2023-24 is open

4K Registration for 2023-24 is open

Do you have a student who will be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2024? If so, then register him/her for 4K right now. Families that register now have a better chance of getting one of the all-day 4K spot in South Milwaukee. If you have a relative or neighbor that might have an eligible child, share this information with them.

March 1 - Admiral's game field trip for 5K-5th grades

March 22 - Lakeview Concert (5K-5th grades), 6:30 p.m. at the high school

April 13 - PTO Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament

May 1-5 - Teacher Appreciation Week - May 1-5

May 3-5 - 5th grade camp

June 6 - 5th grade recognition from 6-7 p.m. in the Lakeview gym

Roar Awards for Lakeview Staff

Do you appreciate a staff member at Lakeview? Show them you care by submitting their name for a ROAR Award (the grown-up version of our Golden Lions for students). Here is the link to submit - you can submit as many as you want, every week! The staff member will get a certificate and his/her name will be entered in a monthly drawing for a gift card to the place of their choice. Our staff really appreciates the nice notes. ROAR Awards are sponsored by the Lakeview PTO.
