TEDxYouth@Austin is Tomorrow

Just a reminder that TEDxYouth@ Austin is tomorrow. The event starts at 1:00, with badge pickup beginning at 12:00. If you forgot to RSVP to the email that was sent, please do so to ensure your badge has been printed when you arrive.

Limited Open Door Day Next Week

Ms. Hanna will accompany student presenters to Cedar Creek Science Day next Friday. Open Door Day will only be during 1st & 2nd period. There will be no open lunch next Friday.

Project Proposal Assignment

This week, we went over the Project Proposal, the third assignment due in the Passion Project sequence, in detail. This is due the first week of March. It is very involved, and students should begin working on it immediately.

Art.Science.Gallery Exhibit: Cosmic

The Art.Science.Gallery is currently featuring an exhibit of prints inspired by the study of the cosmos. We have a lot of students studying space related topics for their passion projects. More information can be found on their website.

Free Day at the LBJ Library

In honor of President's Day, admission to the LBJ library is free Monday. One of the newest exhibits is the letter LBJ sent to Coretta Scott King after her husband's assassination. There's also a temporary exhibit of all the hats given to the Johnsons during his presidency. Visit their website for information on other exhibits and parking.
