Weekly Update - PE
March 30th - April 3rd
What is HIIT?
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), a brief, quick-paced form of exercise, has been found to help school children perform better on tasks involving the working memory and cognitive control. You always knew that exercise was good for your child's mind and body!
This Week's Objective: Students will perform a variety of muscular endurance flexibility, muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance exercises as listed on the HIIT workout through a projection device. Students will learn to pace themselves and move and perform at their own personal level.
