Our annual KINDERGARTEN READINESS meeting will be on Wednesday, February 26th at 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM. We are so excited to have Carrie Corder, Clearcreek Elementary Principal, will be joining us and discussing what you and your child can expect as you prepare for, enroll in & start Kindergarten. There will be a great deal of information to pass along. This is an amazing opportunity to gather information, ask questions & get answers.
This is always a popular meeting! We will have child-care available at both meeting times. Please let me know if you plan on attending (9:30 am or 1:30 pm) and if you will need childcare by clicking on this sign up genius link:

Chili Cook Off
Get your aprons out, your best chili recipe ready, grab your favorite game and join us on Saturday, January 25 for the church's annual Chili Cook-off and Game Night. There will be prizes for the best tasting, the most creative presentation, etc. Each entrant will need to provide their own 4x4 card table (decorated of course!) and chili cooked up and brought in warm (there aren’t enough outlets for everyone’s crockpots). For planning purposes, if you plan on bringing a chili, please sign up online at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b054aaaaf2ba46-chili2. If you are unable to sign up in advance, please don’t let that stop you from joining the competition! Last minute entrants welcome.
Family Life Committee will provide hot dogs and drinks. If you’re not a chili cook, just bring a side or dessert to share. We could also use donations of prizes (gift cards or small gifts). Donations can be dropped off in the church office. Come early for worship at 5:30. The dinner will begin at 6:30. If you can help with this event, please contact Tina Stafford at 937-885-6839. Thanks!
Health & Safety
In order to be pro-active, we have attached our inclement weather policy and illness policy. We want to keep everyone safe and healthy in the new year! :) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VE0AtS3mQz8j07f5a_zY8gB796cUcCLR3rvoYcJGKk8/edit?usp=sharing
Speaking of being safe...please, please remember to park in the side lot off of East Street if walking in to pick up or your child at the end of preschool. We are seeing more and more people parking in the front lot and walking through the pick up line which makes us very nervous as children can dart between the cars. Please also be very cautious in the parking lots and keep a hold of your little ones. They are too little for drivers to spot. As a driver, please be extra vigilant and cautious.
Financial Peace University
Budget blown for Christmas? Credit card limits maxed? Too much month at the end of the money? It’s a common issue and it’s nearly impossible to tackle on your own. But with some expert help from Dave Ramsey, Rachel Cruze, and Chris Hogan you can learn how to take charge of your finances in order to live with confidence and joy in today’s complex world.
You’ll learn how to live on less than you make, steadily pay off your debts, and take control of your finances once and for all. In addition to the entire course offering and seven weekly sessions (Jan 12-Feb 23) you’ll get the free app, a workbook of financial tools, access to experienced coaches, live streams that keep you motivated, and courses to help you continue your journey. Contact the church office at 937-748-2612 to register.
