From the Principal's Desk...
Parents and Guardians,
I hope everyone enjoyed their 4-day weekend! While the kids were gone, the teachers were recovering from conferences and planning for our future here at St. John’s. On Thursday, I spent time in individual conferences, and I was able to witness some great discussions between teachers and parents. It is great to be reminded that we are all working together as a team to provide the best education to each and every student. On Monday, the teachers had a great day of Professional Development. Our day was spent looking at trend data, mapping out standards, discussing a new Master Schedule, and providing input for our future. I would like to thank those parents who donated to the casserole committee so that the teachers could enjoy lunch during their PD day. It was delicious!
We have two big events coming up next week. First, we will hold our annual Book Fair from Monday, March 28th-Monday, April 4th. Each grade level will visit the Book Fair to browse and then have the ability to purchase items later in the week. All purchases will help our volunteer-led Library purchase new titles for our students. Secondly, we will have a busy night on Tuesday, March 29th with our first Fine Arts Night for students in grades 1-3 at 7pm. The students have been putting their final touches on their artworks and practicing a ton during music classes. I can’t wait to see their hard work pay off next week. During this time, we will also host “Create the Good” in the gym from 7-8pm and the Book Fair in the Library from 5:30-8:30.
I hope everyone has a great rest of your week.

Seeking Volunteers for 2022 School Spectacular
Do you love being a part of the St John’s family? Is a Catholic education a priority to you? Then here is your opportunity to play a role in the long-term financial viability of our school.
Planning for this year’s St John Spectacular, November 5, 2022, is beginning and we need your help. We are reorganizing some of our committees to spread the work load and get more people involved and would love to have you. If you are new to the St John’s family, this will give you a chance to make many new friends.
