THE LION'S ROAR!
January 12, 2024
FROM OUR PRIDE LEADER
Dear Norris Community,
Wow! What a snowy week we endured. Thank you for supporting your child with their Remote Learning work. Please reach out to your child's classroom teacher with questions.
Reminder that we have No School for students Monday, January 15. Teachers will be using this day learning and growing professionally.
Please remember to send your child with coat, hat, and gloves/mittens everyday as we will go outside if the feels like temperature is above zero degrees. Our number one job is safety and note that we take a lot of factors into account before sending students outside, but know that students needs to get some fresh air if only for a little bit.
Have a wonderful weekend and see you all on Tuesday,
Mr. Wunderlich & Mrs. Croom, Interim Principals
Please remember to follow the yellow arrows in the graphic above. For the safety of our students and adults using the crosswalk, please do not merge from the yellow lane to the blue drive through lane until your vehicle is past the crosswalk! We appreciate the additional patience that can come with winter conditions.
CONGRATS TO OUR JANUARY STUDENTS OF THE MONTH!
CONGRATS TO THIS WEEK'S ROAR TICKET WINNERS!

Spark is our before and after school program at all 25 Millard Elementary schools.
We provide a safe and fun environment for all students to participate in academic, leisure and recreational activities outside of the traditional school day. There are several benefits to your child joining a before and after school program.
Studies have shown that students in before and after school programs are more
likely to have increased academic performance, improved attendance and are
excited to learn and achieve.
Students participate in a variety of extended learning activities to help them discover their interests as well as hands on enrichment activities that encourages kids to explore, unstructured time, outside play, a homework hangout and more!
