Principal's Report
A Weekly Update from Perkiomen Valley Middle School East
A Word From Dr. Clune
Dear PV East Parents,
Summer vacation has officially arrived! On behalf of the faculty and staff, I wish you a safe, healthy and relaxing summer break. I hope that you will find some time over the break to relax with your families. The 2021 - 2022 school year certainly had some challenges but also many successes. This year included Music Concerts, Talent Show, Spring Musical, Sports, Art Show, Field trips, etc. We were packed with exciting activities up to the last day of the school year. Some of the most memorable moments in the final weeks of school include the Faculty/Student Basketball Game, Field Day, 6th Grade Ted Talks, Loss Group Book Dedication, and 8th Grade Awards Ceremony.
Please consider registering your child for Lift Enrichment. Many of the experiences are being led by our own East Teachers. All of them are AMAZING learning experiences! More information below.
We have a few extra copies of the yearbook. If you are interested in another one, we are selling them for $20. Please come by the main office while supplies last.
Sincerely,
Seamus Clune, Ph.D.

Summer Reading
We believe it is critical for students to foster positive reading habits in order to develop as lifelong learners. The district's Summer Reading Program encourages students to read high-interest, self-selected texts. After all, summer reading is a great opportunity for each student to explore personal interests, various genres, topics he/she wants to know more about while discovering his/her own "just right" books. Visit our website to learn more: Summer Reading Program.
In addition, we are excited to share that our libraries will again be open to our families this summer! Students are welcome to visit and check out books. Mark the dates below to visit our school libraries.
