LW Wildcats Weekly Word
Saturday, November 6, 2021
Message from Principal Ready
Dear Families,
Happy first week of November! Each day I am reminded of the amazing community we live in and get to partner with in our complex world of educating children. Almost a third of our year has flown by and there is so much growth and celebration we are reflecting on. Your students’ teacher will be reaching out by November 10 to schedule a Zoom conference with you to both celebrate this growth as well as communicate about areas where additional goals are in place. Thank you in advance for attending and for your very important partnership in your students’ success!
Finally, this week we recognize all who have served our country and the great sacrifices they and their families have made. In our month of gratitude, we extend our gratitude to you.
Thank you for all you do,
Melanie Ready

Last Call for Yearbook Design Covers - Due by Wednesday, November 10
Yearbook Cover and Color Information
It is that time again where YOU have the opportunity to design and color this year's cover for our school yearbook! If you would like to design a cover, you can get a design form from the office starting on Monday, October 18. Your design must fill the entire space and be colored to enter. Be sure to include Lake Wilderness Elementary School and the school year, 2021-2022, in your design.
Don't forget to fill out the information on the back of the form as well so we know which design is yours!
Our staff is so excited to see the great designs you have for this year's yearbook. When you finish your design, turn it in to your teacher or the front office no later than Wednesday, November 10.
Good luck Wildcats!
Parent Teacher Conferences
You will be hearing from your child(s) teacher on or before November 10, so be on the look out for information.
Lost and Found Information
Dear Wildcats,
If your student has lost an item, the Lost and Found is now available to access after school when the students are gone Monday-Thursday between 3:20-4:00. Please check in at the Main Office and we can direct you to the Lost/Found Closet.
Our closets are starting to get full. One way to avoid that is putting your student(s) name on their clothing so our staff can deliver them when found.
