HELP NEEDED TO REACH A MILLION SOULS THIS CHRISTMAS
Did you know our WELS congregations are working together (called C18) to aggressively reach a million souls this special season to learn more of the Savior Jesus under the theme: “A Light in the Darkness”? More importantly, we want our friends, relatives, neighbors, and co-workers to learn of Jesus as Savior to go to heaven. This season, your Trinity Evangelism Commission has purchased 4,000 invite cards and 150 lawn signs as tools to help our congregation reach many people in Waukesha County. These witness tools are intended to help YOU more easily share your Christian joy and faith with others. THIS week, take an invite card (or more) and share it with someone you know (your FRAN who is your: Friends, Relatives, Associates, Neighbors) or even put it up at your gym, place of work, grocery store, etc. to welcome them to Christmas services here.
NEW THIS YEAR – take a full-color yard sign (and stand) and immediately put it up on your lawn inviting your neighbors to Trinity this Christmas. The signs are available by the piano in the Trinity Room. The signs are FREE, but just sign up if/when you take one (name/cell). Hang on to your sign and use it NEXT year. For more info, please speak with Evangelism chairman Brad Tildahl 262-203-1272 or Pastor Oelhafen 262-442-8568.
WAUKESHA XTREME DANCE CLINIC FOR GIRLS PRE-K THROUGH GRADE 8
Performance: January 24 during half time at the Waukesha North JV basketball game
Cost: $30
Flyers were sent home with your daughters this week. There are more in the brochure rack outside the school office.
HELP OUR WAUKESHA NEIGHBORS WITH DONATIONS OF NON-PERISHABLES
The Board of Elders have placed large food barrels to collect food on Trinity’s Campus (located at the East and West entrances of church) as part of a larger Good Samaritan effort to directly support our Waukesha Food Pantry. From now until 12/27, please bring your non-perishable, non-expired food items (bring something you and your family would like to eat such as cereal, canned foods, mac & cheese, etc. – a complete list is on the barrels) to help feed our 1200 hungry neighbors who come to the Pantry every week. Contact Elder Linus Bell for more info: 262-501-0546. Our Savior Jesus has told us: “Love one another” (John 13:34). Will you help us help our neighbors?
WLHS INSTALLATION SERVICE
A special installation celebration service for new WLHS staff will be held on Sunday, January 13, at 3:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Ev. Lutheran Church (W156 N5436 Bette Drive, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051). Academic Dean Mr. Jim Brandt and Mission Advancement Chief Development Officer Mr. John Sebald will be installed. Everyone is invited to attend.
