- Juliet Corbett and Beth Graceffa are proud to announce that 30 FBLA students qualified for State. They took first in their Region and were awarded Best Chapter. The State competition will be held on Monday, April 12. A great job by all involved considering how they had to adapt to a new way of presenting in a virtual format!
- Congratulations to Travis Augustine for being a nominee for the KEEP Energy Educator of the Year Awards. A UW-Stevens Point student who is a member of the K-12 Energy Education Program has reached out to Travis to do an interview for an upcoming article that will be published in their newsletter. This newsletter will be sent to over 10,000 Wisconsin educators and their supporters. They are interested in educators like Travis who are building a movement towards a sustainable future. Great job, Travis!

Malia Forsberg Auditions for Honors Choir
Sophomore Malia Forsberg auditioned for the WSMA State Honors Choir. Malia is also in Madrigals, band, solo & ensemble, and a returning mock trial participant. Malia performed a Class A solo entitled “Pastorale” by Georges Bizet. She will learn the results of her audition in four to six weeks.
SOARing Eagle for Second Quarter
Senior Vincent Tempesta is Class ACT’s soaring eagle for the quarter. He is also the Student Representative to the Governance Board. Here is our nomination: Vincent has really grown in his enthusiasm and curiosity this year. This has made him an invaluable member of his group when it comes to our various outdoor activities through his learning of all the positions of grouse trapping and tracking allowing him to fill any role his team may need when we are out. His curiosity also serves him well when we are working on detailed observations of our forest experiment in the recently sheared alder swamp. Additionally, he has become a true leader of Class ACT through his example of respect for everyone and his willingness to help others.
