ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 3, 2018
Creatures from the Black Lagoon: You may have noticed some creepy crawlies in the building lately. With the tall grasses outside, we have seen snakes and other things in and around the building. If you see something, please let us know ASAP. Pay close attention to students at recess and encourage them to AVOID the fence lines and the gardening areas (2/3 playground.)
Lobby Guard: We have a new system for parents and visitors when signing in and signing out called “Lobby Guard.” You have to use a license to use it. We are going to alert parents of using the system in the Sunday Message. We will alert parents of options beyond the basic touch screen with license sign in in upcoming weeks.
Labor Day: We hope you enjoyed your time off from school! You all work very hard, day after day, and we appreciate your dedication to your students and to Pleasant Union.
PTA Membership Reminder: If you have not joined the PTA, please consider doing so as soon as possible. You are only eligible for the GENEROUS stipend for school supplies available each year if you are a member. You can join online or by writing a check to the PTA. The dues are $8 for individuals and $15 for families. For those that have joined PTA purchase receipts for reimbursements are due October 31st.
