AHES Panther News

2021 Connection: November 12, 2021

Panther Families,

I was so excited to see students this week, as I returned back from our trip to Maryland for the National Blue Ribbon Schools Ceremony. Connecting with them and planning our school celebration pep rally next week was a highlight.

I hope that you and your family had a safe and memorable Veteran's Day. My husband is a veteran, and it was great to celebrate him and his service to our country. Thank you to all our veterans who served.

Parents, please help us inform our future budgets by taking the LCAP survey. You can find the survey at this link: https://ocde.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_e2tPTKGxbhB58YC?Survey=Parent

Please see below for this week's updates. Have a great weekend!

Best,

Mrs. Van Wilgen Moore

Principal

Reminders - Please Review

Parent Portal - Updates - Please Review

As OUSD moves further away from using as much paper, the Parent Portal is becoming more important than ever as a school-to-home communication tool.

OUSD will be updating Portal forms throughout the school year. These forms will be pushed out using the Parent Portal. Any time a document is updated or added, parents will be required to perform Data Confirmation again for that item. If a document is updated, you will see an alert message the next time you log in. This can be confusing for families that have already done the Data Confirmation task at the beginning of the school year. You will not be able to proceed until you have done the Data Confirmation for the specific updated or added document.

How do I know when my child can return to school?
