Survey says policyholder satisfaction up
J.D. Power survey reveals that more property policyholders are pleased
Consumer survey icon J.D. Power released survey results indicating that property policy claimants are more satisfied with their insurers and their claims experiences over the last year. As reported on the website www.insurancenetworkingnews.com, the increased satisfaction levels were spawned directly by property insurer efforts to better explain settlements and claims decisions, which led to a reduced number of policyholders challenging settlements. The survey results came as welcome news close to the one year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy which ravaged the east and mid-atlantic regions in October 2012.
