Please complete by end of the day Wednesday, May 22nd.
Thank You
We look forward to welcoming graduating seniors on Tuesday.
Students will be involved in a benchmark that day. If small groups are not done testing - the students should be returned to their class for the broadcast and the "walk".
Please plan on a KCOL broadcast prior to students lining the hallway.
We plan to have our four scholarship winners appear on KCOL. We anticipate a 11:05 or 11:10 broadcast.
As soon as the special broadcast concludes we will ask students to move to the hallways.
To provide room for more of the students I would ask that LC 5-5, 5-4 will stay in the gym from the PE class. 6-5 and 6-4 Band, Art, and Music will report to the gym.
Fine Arts and PE must make sure Envision works in the classroom so that students can view the KCOL broadcast! Make sure to practice Monday and Tuesday morning.
We hope to begin the walk by 11:15 a.m.
The high school shared the students that will be at Collins for "The Walk". Students shared information that I thought you might like to see.
Thanks for allowing this amazing event to occur to a very busy end to the school year.
LC Meeting Thursday, May 23rd
In place of the faculty meeting I will meet with the 5th and 6th LC's together by the schedule above. We will gather in the PLC room 5 minutes after the start time of each block.
Fine Arts / PE we will meet at 11:20 in the same room.
Please make sure to close all outside doors!
Awaiting News @ Workday
This does not translate to contracted employees. The district will communicate their decision regarding moving the teacher workday to Saturday in the coming days. As soon as a decision has been made either the district will share directly with all staff or I will send out the update when the principals are told.
Clinic Need
We are in desperate need of girls or boys athletic shorts in the clinic, especially sizes 12 -20. We have given out a large number of pants/shorts this year and haven't received many back. If anyone has any gently used bottoms, we will gladly take them.
Thank you!

LEP student EOY review
See Sabrina's Email Dates Wed 4/24, 11:16 AM for TWO important attachments!
It is that time of year...
When on lunch duty or recess duty you must make sure to circulate, do not stop to talk to kids, watch for students gathering or becoming irritated/aggressive. Do not stand and talk to other teachers. Move around and watch carefully.
Tech Time
Summer CISD Connects Academy
Here are flyers describing tech trainings available through the summer. I would LOVE to have a good showing at the CISD Connects Academy, July 25th-26th, which is going to feature a really interesting, motivating, and challenging speaker and Tech leader named Alan November. He is really engaging and very approachable, and really interested in helping teachers engage today's students.
Sign up for all in Eduphoria....I could not find the classes from the Canvas flyer in Eduphoria, so I emailed the district to see if there is a glitch.
