Homecoming Week

Homecoming Week is an awesome tradition at ORHS. The spirit days at school and awesome activities always make for an exciting week.


Spirit Days are 80s themed and include:


Monday - National Lampoon Tourist Wear

Tuesday - Breakfast Club - Flannel Wear (no pajamas)

Wednesday - Pretty in Pink

Thursday - Back to the Future

Friday - Fancy Friday



Mark your calendars for our Annual Fall Festival and Homecoming Parade on Wednesday, September 25 from 6pm - 8pm at Oak Ridge High School. The parade will go from Oak Ridge Elementary School to War Eagle Stadium and will end with a pep rally and a carnival. There will be food trucks and fun for the whole family.


The Homecoming Dance is on Saturday, September 28 from 8pm-11pm at Oak Ridge High School. The theme of the dance is 1980s! Tickets can be purchased through SchoolCash Online for $20 or can be purchased at the door for $30.00

Parent Nights

Monday, September 16 is the Class of 2020 Parent Information Night. There will be information about college and career planning, scholarship information, and what to expect these last few months of high school. The event will take place in the auditorium at 6:30 pm.


Monday September 23 is the Class of 2021 and Class of 2022 Parent Night on Senior Campus in the auditorium at 6:30 pm. Monday September 23 is also the Class of 2023 Parent Night on the 9th Grade Campus in the Cafeteria. It will start at 6:00 pm (in case you have students in both grade levels).


Presentations from Parent Night will be made available on the Oak Ridge Website if you are unable to make the event.

PSAT Testing - 9th, 10th, and 11th Grade Students - October 16, 2019

All students in 10th and 11th grade will take the PSAT, Preliminary SAT, exam during the school day on Wednesday, October 16th. The exam is free for all 10th and 11th grade students, so no action is needed from you to register your student for the exam.


The PSAT test is optional and available to all interested 9th grade students. The cost of the test for 9th grade students is $18. To register your freshman student, please purchase on SchoolCash Online. Registration for freshmen students is due on September 16th.

Bond Information

The Conroe ISD Board of Trustees approved the Election Order and Notice for a November 5, 2019, School Bond Election containing two propositions. If the voters approve both propositions on November 5, there will be NO TAX RATE INCREASE to District residents.
