Why Do People Bully?


Kids might bully other kids because they feel jealous towards that individual. Also, they try to draw attention to themselves since they may not get attention anywhere else. Finally, kids want to feel powerful, therefore, they pick on somebody they know they could be powerful over.

What Are Some Reasons Kids Get Picked On?

A person’s race could have a lot to do with bullying. Also, their physical appearance attracts the bully. If a bully thinks that a person cannot defend themselves, that is usually who they target.

How Can You Tell Who A Bully Is?

You can usually tell who a bully is by if they hit or push other children for no reason. Also, they are usually very strong for their age. Lastly, they may not hang out with kids their age. They may hang out with older kids.

How Can You Stop A Bully?

To try and stop bullying, try treating all others with respect. Most of the time you will gain respect back. Other times it will cause more problems, the bully may think you are trying to be smart and so forth. Another way to try and stop bullying is stand up for others. Although you may be protecting somebody else from being bullied, you are putting the target right on your back. Lastly,

talk to an adult you trust, they will tell you what you need to do, but at the same time it could cause the bully to get angry at you because you went and told on him or her.

Who Are People You Can Trust With Bullying?

Your parents, your older sibling, your teachers, bus drivers, neighbors, coaches, and grandparents can all help you with a bully. They can go have a talk to the bully, intimidate them, or even talk to their parents. They are mature, so they

will know the right words to say in order to keep the bully away from you.
