College Admissions 101: A crash course for new high school counselors
Sunday, November 24 1-3pm
Kat Coy, M.S., School Counselor Knoxville Catholic High School
This pre-conference session is built for high school counselors that have three or less years of experience in the high school setting. This session will give a basic overview of important knowledge that is often left up to counselors to learn “on the job”. Counselors will walk through the school year and cover important topics that happen during each “season” of high school. Also, attendees will work on a mock admissions activity that will be moderated by a panel of local college admissions representatives. If you are new to the high school setting, or you merely want to re-energize your college admissions knowledge, we welcome you to attend this session!
