Mrs. Wishy Washy Comes to Salford Hills
Interested in Volunteering at Salford Hills? Our Hands Across the District form is linked below!
There are lots of ways that you can help to impact your child's experience at Salford Hills! Check out the presentation below for some ideas on how you can become involved. We are grateful for your help!
Please take a few minutes to complete the Hands Across the District Google form. This information needs to be completed each school year. There is also a section where you can enter your information to be included in the School Directory. The School Directory will still be published as a hard copy.
The Back to School Bash is this Friday!
Hope to see you there!
Video Literacy Program Volunteers Needed!
Our Video Literacy Program can use your help! If you have some time to spare to help videotape our students please contact Amy Ivory at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Video Literacy program records your child reading a favorite book each year while they are at Salford Hills. At the end of 5th grade you will receive a link to access all of their videos from over the years. How fun!
Volunteers will be given a script with questions about the book that the student has chosen to read. Time slots are typically scheduled from 9-11 and 1-3 to accommodate lunch schedules but any help that you can give is much appreciated! Thank you!
Please keep an eye out for them! Also, don't forget to start filling out your labels and returning them to school. This year's Race will be held on Friday, October 25th.
This year's Prize and Award Categories include:
1) All students will receive a backpack keychain for bringing in a minimum of 10 address labels by Thursday, September 26th.
2) All students who bring in fifteen (15) names by Thursday, September 26th will receive a Salford Hills pencil case (in addition to a keychain).
3) The top student in each grade who brings in the most names by Thursday, September 26th will get a Salford Hills sweatshirt.
