Video Literacy Program Volunteers Needed!

Our Video Literacy Program can use your help! If you have some time to spare to help videotape our students please contact Amy Ivory at amy.ivory@icloud.com. The Video Literacy program records your child reading a favorite book each year while they are at Salford Hills. At the end of 5th grade you will receive a link to access all of their videos from over the years. How fun!

Volunteers will be given a script with questions about the book that the student has chosen to read. Time slots are typically scheduled from 9-11 and 1-3 to accommodate lunch schedules but any help that you can give is much appreciated! Thank you!

Transitioning from Kindness Inspiration to Kindness Stories

After a wonderful year of inspiration with kind sayings and kindness t-shirts hanging throughout our school, we take our inspiration and turn it into action. The goal for this year is to share our kindness stories with each other, either kindnesses that we've witnessed or kindnesses that we've experienced. We're not quite sure what that will look like yet, but stay tuned. We look forward to being inspired all over again, this time by knowing the joy of experiencing a kind school daily -- and sharing it.
