The virtual 2020 Celebration of Scholarship and Creativity is now going on.
As you might know, every year, for one day in April, Worcester State University's campus comes alive with student research and creative activity. Presentations, exhibitions, performances, and posters showcase the wonderful talents of Worcester State students as they share the amazing research and creative work they have done under the guidance of our devoted faculty members.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were not able to have our regular in-person program. So, the conference went online. Everyone in the Worcester State community can share in the impressive achievements of our graduate and undergraduate students. This year, from biotechnology to sociology, from history to occupational therapy, and everything in between, the projects are fascinating. To see the different projects online, go to

$5,000 Scholarships for Student Entrepreneurship Ambassadors
All majors encouraged to apply! Join a group of student ambassadors on a journey of inspiration, innovation, and impact. Members of the Student Entrepreneurship Ambassadors Program develop an entrepreneurial mindset and leadership abilities through experiences and skills-based training. Plus, their access to a supportive network helps them bring their ideas to life.
Each Student ?Entrepreneurship Ambassador is eligible to receive a $2,500 scholarship in year one and in year two of the program. In the third year of the program, participants complete an internship or project for a partner company. Participants with a vetted venture idea may be eligible for startup seed fund grants of up to $1000 in year three of the program.

The Worcester State University Chorale will showcase a variety of 90s song favorites at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 at El Basha, 256 Park Avenue in Worcester. Tickets are $10 and tend to go fast for this fun night! Contact Amanda at a_buma@hotmail.com to purchase tickets. Any tickets not sold prior to the event will be available at the door.
