DIrector, Winslow Classical Conversations Community
Unable to get classical history songs out of her head following her first encounter with Classical Conversations, Jennifer knew she had found a beautiful, succinct, enlightening program that could help her accomplish her education and life goals in a manageable format!
These goals include the desire to produce children who enjoy lifelong learning, who have loving relationships with each other, who impart their knowledge to others, who defend their convictions with clear and concise logic and who filter all things through a biblical world view. Jennifer is ecstatic to have discovered a time tested, God-honoring, achievable program that provides a complete framework for reaching and surpassing these goals.

Ask Homeschool Parents: Why Homeschool
HOW to think, not WHAT to think!
The first key to a great education is that it is “classical.” By that we mean the classical model of education which has proven effective over time. This model has cultivated great leaders in the arts of freedom. Aristotle, Newton, C.S. Lewis and Thomas Jefferson are just a few examples of great thinkers who were educated classically.
A classical education is ideally suited to children's natural learning style. The classical model divides the learning process into three stages: grammar, dialectic, and rhetoric. In the grammar stage, children devour facts. In the dialectic stage, children ask many questions as they sort and evaluate these facts. In the rhetoric stage, teenagers synthesize their knowledge and apply it.
