I hope everyone had a great week. We are looking forward to celebrating our Mustang Spirit with Homecoming festivities starting on September 7. We are excited to enjoy all our traditional homecoming events!

We have had a strong start to the school year in which deep learning experiences are being created by our staff and students inside and outside of the classroom. Despite the challenges we are facing, we remain steadfast in our core beliefs of deep learning, relationships, and opportunity. I truly believe our commitment to these beliefs will prepare students socially, emotionally, and academically.

Counselors Mrs. Mandel (A-K) and Mrs. Strupp (L-Z) have been hard at work reaching students at the start of this year. All 9th grade students have received a 25 minute advisory lesson on how to access their school counselor and what our role is here at MSHS We strive to support all students with their academic development, career development and social/emotional development and will continue to meet with them throughout the year.

Counselors have also hosted two New Student luncheons this week. Every student who is new to the MSHS district was invited to join us for pizza in the Media Center and had the opportunity to meet each other! We are so excited to have so many new faces here this year at MSHS!
