Nuclear Energy is the energy released during nuclear fission or fusion, esp. when used to generate electricity. Nuclear energy comes from the splitting of uranium atoms in a process called fission. At the power plant, the fission process is used to generate heat for producing steam, which is used by a turbine to generate electricity. Fusion is the process or result of joining two or more things together to form a single entity. Nuclear energy can be found most any where that matter exists. Info from -

    • Radioactive waste is a certain type of waste that nuclear reactors produce, but the waste is not being disposed correctly, so then the waste becomes hazardous can leak. Some mixed waste can become a chemical reaction.

    • Nuclear energy has an impact on aquatic life because of radioactive wastes. People are trying to made a solution to this problem so it does not keep on excelling. People are making reports that radioactive wastes take a long time to go back to its original form.
