Welcome
to the Student Resource Center
EPHS is proud to share that we’ve opened a Student Resource Center (SRC) in the west wing at the high school, just down the hall from the auditorium. Estes Park School District- R3 is working hard to keep your students well prepared for the rapidly changing landscape of work in the 21st century. By incorporating Global Outcomes, labor market and student self-assessment data, we hope to offer meaningful support to students as they navigate planning for their futures.
We’ll be piloting a variety of programs and workshops for all grade levels this semester. To meet Colorado Department of Education requirements for ICAP, students will be asked to sign up for two programs in the SRC. Many of the programs and workshops will have a 25 student minimum so encourage your student to sign-up early! The SRC will offer workshops on professionalism or applying for financial aid, discussions on transitioning away from high school after graduation, opportunities to visit worksites and businesses in Loveland/Fort Collins, a monthly career exploration speaker series and more. Please see the attached description of events for more detail.
We invite you to stop by to check out the new Student Resource Center (Room 232) this Wednesday evening during Open House from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. We will have plenty of information to share but most importantly, it will be a pleasure to have you in the space.
