PRINCIPAL MESSAGE
Dear Families;
As a reminder, Parent-Teacher conferences are scheduled for this coming Monday and Tuesday, November 23 and 24. They are being done by video conference of course and you should already have received the opportunity to schedule a conference. If you still need to schedule a conference, please contact the teacher directly.
Some reminders about conferences for this year….
Elementary conferences will last 20 minutes
Middle School conferences will last 10 minutes
When you arrive at your conference you will automatically be placed in a waiting room. The teacher will let you in when your conference begins.
If you do not remember your conference time, please contact the teacher directly
In case you can’t find the link to the video conference, here is a list of all teachers and the links for their conferences Teacher Conference Zoom Links
If you run into difficulties on Monday or Tuesday, there are two ways to get help. There is a video conference help desk available Help Desk for Conferences and you may need the pass code to enter it (Meeting ID: 858 9644 9258 Passcode: 991957). You can also call the school at (503) 916-6330. We will do our best to solve your problem.
I believe we’ve done everything we can to make the technical side of this work and I know your teachers have worked very hard to prepare for your conferences. As always this year, thank you in advance for your patience!
John Horn

PRESENTATION ON SOCIAL ISOLATION
PTA INCLUSION COMMITTEE NEWS & RESOURCES
November is Native American Heritage Month
"Native American Heritage Month has evolved from its beginnings as a week-long celebration in 1986, when President Reagan proclaimed the week of November 23-30, 1986 as "American Indian Week." Every President since 1995 has issued annual proclamations designating the month of November as the time to celebrate the culture, accomplishments, and contributions of people who were the first inhabitants of the United States.
Through dance, family traditions, and music, these stories show the diversity and long history of Indigenous people across the United States. Celebrate the history, culture, and traditions of American Indians and Alaska Natives in a special collection of films, short stories, and resources from Public Television."
