Come hear the eye-opening budget details from Dr. Lancaster, Superintendent of LTISD, and Mr. Johnny Hill, CFO of LTISD. They will present and discuss the finance needs of our growing community. Everyone is invited to attend this special meeting hosted by the WCH PTO on Wednesday, November 16th @ 9:00am in the Tiger Den (cafeteria). Bring your friends and neighbors, you do not need to have a student in school to attend

Music teacher Mrs. Hill and our third grade students will be presenting the 3rd Grade Veteran’s Day Program. We invite all veterans to attend this special program. Please note that all visitors must raptor in before entering the building. To avoid long raptor lines, please RSVP to our receptionist if you plan to attend the program.

Thank you again for all of your help collecting the pledges from the Apex Fun Run! Right now, we have collected 80% of the pledges and our goal is 100%. Please help us by making sure that all sponsors have paid online or by check/cash. You can check to see who has paid by logging in with your student’s access code at www.apexfunrun.com and scrolling to the bottom to the list of pledges for your student. WCH PTO

The week of November 14th – 18th we will be celebrating College Week at WCH (dress up in your favorite college gear all week). College Week will involve activities that help students become more aware of what going to college means and what it involves. To find out more about College Week activities, please click here.

It’s that time again! Starting this week, each teacher will have a “Naked Turkey” in the cafeteria. The turkeys desperately need feathers. Students can bring in quarters to purchase feathers for any turkey that they choose. Each quarter buys one feather for the turkey. The classroom teacher in each grade level who has the most feathers will win the competition and dress like a turkey on Friday, November 18th. The proceeds from our contest will go to the Helping Hands of Spicewood Crisis Ministries and the startup of our school store. Students can purchase feathers Thursday, November 10th – Thursday, November 17th before school in the front hallway.

Fuel Café will host the annual Thanksgiving Feast on November 17th.

The café cooks will roast the turkey in house and serve it with local, farm fresh green beans and traditional trimmings.

Will the amazing house-baked turkey cut out cookies be back? YES!

This is the perfect opportunity to stock up on gift cards to give out as Christmas gifts (mailman, trash collectors, babysitters, etc).
