NAMCA RE-ENERGIZED & RENEWED
The 2014 Annual Convention (May 21-24, 2014) has been planned to be the most transformative NAMCA meeting. Expected is a new leadership, a new vision and a renewed sense of organizational direction. We expect to have new and old members reposnding to the call for progress in the political, economic, technological and cultural life of our community .The annual general meeting (AGM) is where we conduct our business agenda and where plans, decisions and actionable items are made. We are a member driven tax exempt organization that seeks to empower our people both in the diaspora and in homeland. It is with this mission in mind that we should endeavor to put in place a frame work & structure that enables members to pursue ends that allow them to affect self and folks at home. Many members want to make a difference to peoples at home, and need a support framework which NAMCA possesses. This meeting provides an opportunity to exploit it to the maximum. We will have dynamic speakers, learning sessions, roundtable discussions, networking opportunties and workshops that will re-invigorate our vision and reenergize us to to tackle the unique challenges our society faces.
