The Husky Weekly Update
A Sunday Newsletter of MRHS Related News
The Week of October 18th through October 22nd!
Healthy School Reminders
Two Quick Healthy School Items:
2. Students who do not feel well must visit the nurse prior to a phone call being made home. If a student is picked up before seeing the nurse, then it will be identified as an "unexcused absence". As you can imagine, it is critical that we keep track of why students are not feeling well and need to go home. If a student visits the nurse, and the nurse deems it necessary for the student to go home, then he/she will be listed as "Early Dismissal- Nurse," and it will not count against his/her credit absences.
Halloween is back!
On October 28th MRHS will have our halloween costume contest for students and staff! The student contest will take place during 1st period. Each homeroom will send ONE student when the announcement is made. (An exception can be made in the case of two outstanding costumes). We are hoping to do the judging on the football field if the weather permits--if not it will be in the cafeteria. The announcement will designate the appropriate area.
Please see the Halloween costume rules here.
