Student Representative Report
Hailey shared some positive updates from the high school including a schedule change affecting lunch and prime time, an addition of handicap and gender-neutral bathrooms, and a successful start for extracurricular activities. Hailey will be setting up student advisory committees at the middle and elementary schools, which will give a much-needed voice to the younger students; click here for the detailed report.

Bill Foster, School Perceptions Representative, was present via Google Meet to give an overview of the survey and answer any questions that the Board had; the Board accepted the School Perceptions Survey and survey timeline as stated by Bill Foster, School Perceptions Representative and after Board discussion; the survey will be released in October; click here for more details.

CFAUSD Dual Credit Enrollment Report
Sue Kern, Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, shared with the Board an overview of the Dual Credit Enrollment Report for the 2022-2023 school year.
Chad Trowbridge, Executive Director of Business Services & Finance, gave an overview of the current enrollment numbers.
Chi-Hi eSports Team Start-up
Scott Marty, Director of Educational Technology, provided information about the Chi-Hi eSports Start-up; over 70 high school students were in attendance at the kick-off meeting to consider joining the team; Chi-Hi belongs to a growing number of schools throughout the State that began the process of joining an increasingly popular "sport" among teens and young adults - there are even college scholarships out there for top players.
