Community Engagement
The Boys Scouts of America is collaborating with LHISD for future student learning opportunities on their Smilin V Scout Ranch located right here in Liberty Hill. It will be a western theme Cub Scout camp that will provide a "mountain top" experience for youth and adults across Central Texas to rival top Cub Scout camps in the country. LHISD looks forward to utilizing these outdoor hands-on learning facilities during the week to enhance programming in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics when the facilities are open. Area businesses are partnering on this project as it will be a valuable resource and asset for youth and families in our area.
Donations to LHISD
Thank you to Kelli Moore Paints in Cedar Park for the pallet of hand sanitizers- 4,320, 3.3oz individual bottles they donated to the district. We appreciate you paying it forward, this will make a huge difference in helping our students and staff stay healthy!
Another awesome community partner that donated water to Rancho Sienna Elementary and LH Intermediate School is the group of nursing students from Concordia. Your contribution is appreciated as we strive to keep our Panther family hydrated and healthy!
Thank you Loving Touch Pet Spa for keeping K9 Nosek groomed monthly - you're doing a wonderful job!

NEW COVID-19 LIVE DASHBOARD AND AFTER HOURS COVID REPORTING RESOURCES
LHISD has launched two new resources on the Return to Learn website to help staff, families, and the community stay informed of the COVID presumptive or positive cases in our district. An after-hours process for our parents has also been implemented to notify the Health Services Department of presumptive or positive COVID cases after hours. These resources are located on the district Return to Learn webpage at this link.

REMIND- District Communication Platform for COVID-19 Notifications
The Health Services department will be sending COVID-19 notifications to parents using Remind versus Skyward; the Health Service team will also follow up with a phone call. Remind is one of the channels teachers and staff currently use for classroom or extra-curricular communication. The district is moving to this platform as it’s functionality will provide a faster and easier notification process for our Health Service team and parents during this challenging time. All campuses will be participating in this initiative. Parents will not need to enroll or activate an account as it is synced with Skyward and will automatically send you the messages.
