Student Registration
Students should register below for each session that they want to attend. Once they register, they’ll receive a confirmation email with their unique link to join the Zoom webinar. (Students will also receive a barcode, but the barcode is not necessary for this virtual event.) When students register, they are sharing their registration information only with colleges presenting on that particular panel. StriveScan does not sell or share personally identifiable student information with any other third parties. Students should participate live so they can ask questions and interact with the college admission counselors. If students are unable to attend live, we still encourage them to register for the sessions they are interested in and recordings will be available here later.
Parents
Parents should register their students using their student’s information.
Learn more about the event, scheduled for Sept. 16 and 17, and please extend an invitation* to your students.
CLASS OF 2021 INFORMATION:
NAVIANCE + THE COMMON APPLICATION
If you will be applying to college this fall please read the below information carefully and read ALL of it. IMPORTANT CHANGES TO Common Application PROCESS: You can now start creating your Common App account but please do not invite any teacher or counselors to write letters of recommendation through Common App. This process will take place in Naviance for the 2020-2021 school year. After August 1st you will need to match your Common App account with your Naviance account. Once you match Common App to Naviance you will then able to request transcripts and teacher recommendations in Naviance Student. For the 2020-2021 academic year, our school will be using Naviance for college document submissions. Naviance will simplify the processes of the counseling department and teachers follow to send transcripts, school reports, and recommendation letters to colleges, including all Common Application colleges. Please email Mrs. Bishton if you have any questions. (Lbishton@richland2.org)
