Chrome extensions & Google add-ons
Adding Productivity to the classroom
Today's Agenda
Purpose:
- Today we will explore google extensions and google add-ons and evaluate which extension/add-ons will provide learning support and productivity for the teacher and student.
Agenda
- Demonstrate how to sync chrome
- How to use google store to search for extension
- How to search for google add-ons in google doc
- In your group, one person will roll the die.
- Whatever category is rolled will determine where the group will start exploring, for example, roll read then scroll to the reading category below and choose an extension from the list under Reading.
- Each group member will pick a different extension, add it to chrome, use it and then complete the questions on the google form.
- It is important to complete the questions on the google form before you move on. By completing those questions, co-workers will be able to view your evaluation of an extension or add-on.
- You have 10 minutes to explore and evaluate the extension. When the timer goes off you will roll the die to explore another extension/add-on.

When you have added some speaker notes to your presentation in Google Drive, click SlideSpeech Convert on your Google Drive presentation menu. Here is a SlideSpeech walk through of how things work from that point.
